Dakota Alliance Soccer Club
New Toca
Soccer Skill Development Program Hosted by DASC

Toque de oro, or TOCA, for short, is a new program being offered by Dakota Alliance Soccer Club that will serve as a bridge between Joga and the U10 Academy. TOCA literally means ‘touch’ in Spanish, and the idea is to continue to help individual players develop a magical ‘touch’ or ‘feel’ for the soccer ball! TOCA is geared towards 7 and 8 year old boys and girls who want to continue to learn and develop new soccer skills and techniques, and a golden touch. TOCA will provide instruction in small-sided games and activities where players will have more opportunities to have the ball and make decisions. Emphasis will be placed on developing soccer’s foundational skills such as ball control, receiving, shielding, running the ball, passing, turning, moves to get past an opponent, and shooting. Individual players will get lots of repetition with the ball, thus enhancing each player’s skill set and personal enjoyment of the game!
